Rooted in the Lasallian heritage and tradition of the Christian Brothers, De La Salle High School excels in guiding young men and women of varied backgrounds and abilities to develop spiritually, intellectually, physically and socially. De La Salle offers outstanding college preparatory programs which inspire and prepare students for higher education with growth opportunities for a lifetime.
Located in the Uptown section of New Orleans, and currently celebrating its 60th Anniversary, De La Salle was the first school in Orleans Parish to reopen after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The school, like many others, has yet to return to its previous enrollment. However, much progress is being made.
