Joshua J. McElwee is a Lasallian Volunteer at the Holy Family Catholic Worker House in Kansas City, MO, and serves as an editorial intern for National Catholic Reporter (NCR).

A native of San Jose, Calif., who spent his first twelve years in the Chicago area, he graduated from The Catholic University of America. He has previously worked for Pax Christi USA and the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities.
