About the 1683 Leadership Circle
In 1683, Saint La Salle finalized his decision to abandon his personal wealth. He resigned his canonry and distributed his money to the poor during the harsh winter that followed. He chose to rely on Providence, trusting that God would connect him to generous donors to sustain his schools. Similarly, the continued growth of the Lasallian Volunteers, and of the new poor schools recently begun by the Brothers, must rely on generous benefactors like you to continue Saint La Salle’s ministry today.
